My first time painting models.
Over the winter of 2022, I decided that I wanted to give miniature painting a shot. I am currently working on the recruit edition set of Warhammer models. So far it has been an absolute blast to put these together and paint. As you can tell I am still learning and working to improve. I find it difficult to make the time for it because once I start it is a two-plus hour journey each time.

Gehenna's Gold
While working on the recruit box I decided to pick up Gehenna's Gold. I think the gold completely changes the feel of the model. I am currently using a wet palette, and you cannot let it sit for longer than a few hours or it will begin to separate.
Current Workspace.
I purchased this cutting mat from Dollar Tree for $1.25, It has held up well for the recruit box thus far. The paint stand in the back was 3D printed, it took about 48 hours on the printer. You can find many like it on Thingiverse.
